Getting ready

Getting ready as a blogger and as a pilgrim on the Via Francigena. 

Where to start? Not knowing much about blogs I thought I'd give this one a go. It seems very no-frills. In terms of the via Francigena it's been all about looking through guide books, joining the facebook groups and reading as much about it as possible eg Brian Moony's book 'A long way for a pizza'. So far really difficult to work out a route through France as so many possibilities some a lot longer than others. Also checking out accommodation so as to work out reasonable distances between different stopping points.
